What is a Content Management System?

A Content Management System (CMS) is software, implemented as a Web application, for creating and managing HTML content. It is used to manage and control a large, dynamic collection of Web material (HTML documents and their associated images). A CMS facilitates content creation, content control, editing, and essential Web maintenance functions.

With a content management system users with little knowledge of programming languages or markup languages can create and manage content with relative ease.  This means that we will do all the hard work of designing, coding and setting up of your website, and in future, you can update the website yourself with new content in order to keep your site current and fresh.  

If you would like us to update and maintain your website, we can do that as well, but we would still like to give you control over your own website.
